On Jan. 14th, 2023, an annual meeting was held to review our work in the last year and to look forward to the future. This time, we were honored to invite Dr. Feng Guihai, Dr. Jia Xiaoyan, Dr. Xu Jin and Dr. Liu Li as guests to attend the meeting. Their insightful comments and generous advice eminently inspired all of us and were greatly appreciated!

First of all, as an educator as well as the PI of our lab, Dr. Luo summarized both achievements and deficiencies of the laboratory in the last year, and expected consistent progress of our lab. Then, each member introduced their work of this year in turn, and together discussed the problems encountered.

After the meeting, Xi Jianfei won “The Best Report” awards for his excellent performance. Wu Fu and Zhong Zhendong won the second prize whilst Lan Yelin, Zhang Zhihao and Ren Zehui won the third. Congratulations to them! Finally, with a sumptuous meal, the annual meeting of 2022 culminated in success.

Sail against the current, when either forges ahead or falls behind. Retrospection of history is to make us well-prepared for the future. We will keep going with passions and expect a good harvest in the year to come!
