On December 27th, 2022, our lab has established a new method termed MM-seq for genome-wide 6mA mapping, as the paper entitled “High-precision mapping reveals rare N6-deoxyadenosine methylation in the mammalian genome” published in Cell Discovery. Li-Qian Chen and Zhang Zhang are the co-first authors. Hong-Xuan Chen, Jian-Fei Xi, Xue-Hong Liu, Dong-Zhao Ma, Yu-Hao Zhong, Wen Hui Ng and Tao Chen has also made contribution to this work. Cooperating with Chuan He and Puping Liang, our lab published an article, which is entitled “Systematic identification of CRISPR off-target effects by CROss-seq”, in Protein & Cell on July 15th. Yan Li is the co-first author. Hong-Xuan Chen and Dong-Zhao Ma also made great contribution to this work. Congratulations to them!
From August 8th to 10th, we had our long-awaited 3-day summer trip to Hailing Island, though it was just after the start of autumn in 24 Solar Terms.
Hi! Long time no see! On Jan. 22nd 2022, we held the Luo Lab’s annual meeting. Before the members’ reports, there was a brief summary of the year just past, when we kept progress steadily and came out some brilliant pieces of work, such as a new calibration method of m6A. We will keep going with passions and expect a good harvest in the year to come!
