Our new m6A mapping method has been published in Science Advances. It is the first practical method to pinpoint m6A site in single-base resolution throughout the transcriptome. We hope the m6A community will benefit a lot from this new method. Congratulations to Zhang Zhang, Liqian, and Yuli!

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is one of the most abundant mRNA modifications in eukaryotes, the most popular identification method of which highly depends on the anti-m6A antibody but suffers from poor reproducibility and limited resolution. The article, titled Single-base mapping of m6A by an antibody-independent method, established a new method for m6A precise detection, named m6A-sensitive RNA-Endoribonuclease-Facilitated sequencing (m6A-REF-seq).
